Here's to 2010

Here's to the Crazy Ones.

The misfits.The rebels.
The troublemakers.
The round pegs in the square holes.
The ones who see things differently.
They're not fond of rules.
And they have no respect for the status quo.
You can quote them, disagree with them,
disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them.
About the only thing that you can't do, is ignore them.
Because they change things.
They invent. They imagine. They heal.
They explore. They create. They inspire.
They push the human race forward.
Maybe they have to be crazy.
How else can you stare at an empty canvas and see a work of art? Or, sit in silence and hear a song that hasn't been written?
Or, gaze at a red planet and see a laboratory on wheels?
We make tools for these kinds of people.
While some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius.
Because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do.

A montage to ring in the New Year. I'm off down to West Sussex for a house party for the evening itself, and then will be pottering around London and the South for a few days, delaying the painfully long and expensive journey homewards.

Happy New Year when it comes, and may the next decade be as fabulous, challenging, inspired and debauched as the last.

Here's to you,
And Here's to me,
The Best of Friends we'll ever be.
But if by chance we disagree,
To hell with you!
And here's to me!

Where the Wild Things Are

There's a lot of lacy knickers and nipples in the winter edition of Jalouse. The whole world's gone all Viktor Vauthier; lace, unkempt hair, ripped tights...these girls are 'all fur coat and no knickers' as my granny would say. All in the name of good fashion of course, right, right?

I just had to give in to a spot of photoshooting to showcase these Louis Vuitton-esque beauties which surfaced in Topshop. I was supposed to be Christmas shopping for family but, well, self-indulgence takes hold of us all, non?

Some of my pictures from the christmas party my friends and I threw the other week in Leeds. I've completely fallen in love with my canon flashgun. It is 4 inches of perspex sex.

Ps. I think the dodgy green curtains are actually a nice touch, non?
