...AND AWAY...
I love balloons.
I love their perfect, shiny buoyancy, I love the structures they make and their almost fantastical, alien presence in a photo.
Some of my long-time followers may have come to recognise my profile photo which until recently was of myself frolicking in a garland of balloons.
For our recent university summer ball in Leeds for which I did the decorations, I comissioned two lovely ladies to make giant multicoloured balloon arches and columns. Here are a few of the poor devils who survived the festivities, and took shelter in my room.

PS. I got photoshop for my birthday. I've been too busy to take it out its box yet, but I can't wait to start playing...especially with the GLITTER SETTING!

Balloons are awesome....I just love the way they can fill a shot with colour or convey a lighter-than-air mood.
Be careful, I know of one such shoot where a size 8 girl got too many to hold and floated away! ;-)
