A/W 11 VIVIENNE WESTWOOD RED LABEL

Photobucket

Madhatter's tea party, gardening wear, punk (of course), patriotic colours ... these were all terms bandied about in the fashion press after Vivienne Westwood's Red Label show. I was blown away by the venue alone, the Royal Courts of Justice at Aldwych, feeling that this was as close as I'd ever get to seeing the Hogwart's Great Hall. The somewhat spooky setting was lit up by the colourful parade of eclectic, and clownishly made-up girls, who practically speed-walked the catwalk, at 27 metres the longest at LFW.
